Background: Trisha is an East Topeka native, and proud graduate of HPOC (Holistic Professionals of Color) University, where she expanded her knowledge and training in holistic, culturally intentional, patient-centered care.

Professional History: Trisha’s career in healthcare spans nearly three decades during which she has provided direct patient care in diverse clinical settings including Clinical Laboratory, Emergency Medicine & Urgent Care, Pulmonary & Respiratory Care, Obstetrics Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Neonatal Intensive Care. Alongside her clinical work, Trisha has served as a Residential Instructor of Human Anatomy & Physiology at the university level, and contributed to curriculum development as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Human Anatomy, Clinical Pathophysiology, and Differential Diagnosis.

Passion & Purpose: Beyond her conventional medical background, Trisha specializes in recognizing health patterns often overlooked in Western medicine, particularly within BIPOC (Black, Indigenous People of Color) communities and in the area of Women's Health, where misdiagnoses are common and individuals are often left feeling unseen and unheard.

Drawing from evidence-informed practices and  a multi-generational legacy of ancestral healing traditions passed down through her family, Trisha’s practice is centered around providing holistic care that is deeply personal, intentional, empowering, and profoundly effective.

Honoring the Healers Who Came Before Us

“With deep gratitude, I honor the Ancestral Healers whose wisdom, courage, and practices continue to guide the path of holistic healthcare today. The traditions of African American Folk Healers, Medicine Keepers, Granny Women, and Root Workers were born from resilience, resourcefulness, and an unshakable belief in the body’s ability to heal. These Ancestors carried sacred knowledge of Plants, Energy, and Spirit, passing it forward through stories, rituals, and daily care, often in the face of hardship and erasure.

It is because of their devotion and survival that modern Holistic Practitioners like myself are able to stand firmly in this work. I give thanks to The Elders of My Bloodline, and all of the unseen hands that continue to shape and inspire the way we practice healing today.

This work is not mine alone, it is an extension of theirs. Every consultation, every moment of care, and every breakthrough is a living acknowledgment of the Roots from which I grow, and a true testament to the strength of my Ancestors.”
